My trips in to Springer Orthotics always leave me with a smile on my face as I leave the building. Since coming there first in the Fall of 2016, my experience with Staff have always been positive beginning from the time I walk up to the front desk til the time I go on my way. Particular thanks to Scott V and to Dana as I have had the most contact with them recently, for their professional, courteous, and kind manner - refreshing!

Without the wonderful people at Springer Prosthetics, I would have never come this far! Things have improved so much and are getting easier every day.

Joe is great with kids. He was patient with Jake's questions and our concerns, and encouraged Jake in his pursuits.

Patient Education

We provide take home care and instruction information to our patients who visit our office. For our inpatients, we provide pamphlets to them and their families so they are aware of the continued care that they need to take with their orthoses once they return home. This information also includes our phone number, which allows them access to our services after hours and on weekends.

A vast orthotic slide library is available for personal consultation or educational presentations.

Pre-Operative and Post-Operative Consultations and Education

  • Informational brochures, pamphlets, DVDs and videos.
  • “Hands On” componentry and display items.
  • Support of volunteers (other amputees mentor new amputees).
  • Continuous follow up.
  • Training inservices and product inservices to physical and occupational therapists, and resident staff.
  • Participation in area clinics.
  • Attendance with patients at doctor appointments for evaluations if necessary.
